Building Resilience, Enhancing Wellbeing (4-week course)
Strengthen your ability to cope, adapt, and feel more grounded in everyday life.

Resilience helps us navigate challenges, recover from setbacks, and maintain wellbeing during stressful times. But it’s also a skill that can be developed. This four-week course offers a supportive space to explore what resilience means for you and how to cultivate habits that help you feel more steady and resourceful.

Together, we’ll look at the patterns that shape how you respond to difficulty, build self-awareness around stress and emotions, and learn practical tools for reframing challenges and supporting your mental wellbeing. The aim is to help you feel more capable, confident, and connected to your own strengths.

Guided by our experienced wellbeing practitioners, you’ll gain insight into yourself, develop strategies that enhance resilience, and leave with a clearer sense of agency in managing life’s ups and downs.

Rediscover confidence, creativity, and connection one photo at a time.

Reframe is a gentle, supportive six-week online photography course designed for people who are finding it difficult to get out of the house due to anxiety, low mood, long-term health conditions, disability, or caring responsibilities. Using simple photography prompts, shared reflection, and group connection, Reframe helps you see the world differently and begin to step back into it at your own pace.

Across the course, we’ll explore how creativity can lift mood, reduce anxiety, and strengthen your sense of connection with both yourself and the environment around you. You’ll learn accessible techniques you can try from home or outdoors whenever you feel ready, helping you build confidence through small, achievable steps. Each week offers space to share your images, talk about your experiences, and connect with others in a calm, non-judgemental community.

This course is delivered in partnership between Well Image and the BeWell@StepOne programme, combining Well Image’s creative, evidence-based approach with Step One’s expertise in mental health support.

Reframe gently encourages time in nature, creative self-expression, and social connection, all of which play a powerful role in supporting mental health. By the end of the course, you’ll have a collection of images to be proud of, along with practical tools for wellbeing and a renewed sense of confidence. Participants will also be invited to contribute to an annual public exhibition celebrating the group’s creativity and journeys.

Understand your emotions and regain control with confidence.

Anger is a natural and human emotion, but when it starts to feel overwhelming or hard to express safely, it can affect our relationships, health, and wellbeing. This four-week course provides a supportive space to explore what lies beneath your anger and learn how to respond rather than react.

Together, we’ll look at the triggers and cycles of anger, identify the thoughts and feelings that drive it, and develop practical techniques to manage anger in a healthy, controlled way. The aim isn’t to eliminate anger altogether, but to help you express it more constructively, communicate more clearly, and improve emotional balance.

Guided by our experienced wellbeing practitioners, you’ll gain insight into yourself, build new coping strategies, and leave with a renewed sense of control and confidence.

The course involves attending 4 weekly 2 hr sessions each running from 10.30am - 12.30pm.

The Yoga4MentalHealth Yoga on Prescription 8-week programme supports NHS patients and Non NHS patients to gain self-care skills by learning yoga breathing, relaxation and mindfulness techniques.  No prior experience is needed, and the gentle stretching and strengthening yoga postures can be done in a chair or on a yoga mat.  This is a PCI (Personalized Care Institute) standardized course.

The course follows a weekly theme, 35 minutes of poses, followed by relaxation, a formal breathing practice and an opportunity to ask questions and share your experience in a circle.

Good quality mats, blocks, straps and chairs are supplied.
